Jayapura- The TNI POLRI Combined Forces together with Cartenz Peace Operations Personnel continue to tighten security at the KPU Plenary Meeting in Oksibil, Bintang Mountains Regency Monday, March 4 2024.
The KPU Plenary Meeting has started on March 2 2024. The security forces, in this case the TNI POLRI, have tightened their security from the start of the Plenary until the Plenary ends on Tuesday, March 5 2024. It can be seen that every access road entering the KPU area is being closely guarded by TNI POLRI personnel.
People who will pass in front of the KPU are checked for ID cards, but if they don’t have an ID card, personnel will kindly direct people to use other alternative routes.
While the Plenary was taking place, community activities in the KPU area were restricted by authorities to prevent undesirable things from happening.
Elsewhere, Head of the Cartenz 2024 Peace Operation Public Relations Task Force, AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., M.M., said that the Cartenz Peace Task Force would continue to coordinate with the TNI POLRI Special Unit on duty in the Bintang Mountains Region in order to anticipate security disturbances from the Armed Criminal Group (KKB).
“We, the Cartenz Peace Ops Task Force, will continue to synergize with the Satwil, especially the TNI POLRI who work in the Legal Area of the Bintang Mountains Police to anticipate disruptions to Public Order and Order that could occur at any time, especially if there is content from Political Criminal Groups (KKP) or Armed Criminal Groups (KKB )” said Dr. Bayu
Meanwhile, until today (4/3) reports from the field show that the KPU Plenary Meeting of the Bintang Mountains Regency went well and smoothly.
