Papua – Terror acts frequently carried out by the Papuan Armed Criminal Group (KKB Papua) in various regions in Papua have been criticized by many parties. In its attacks, the KKB often tortured, persecuted and even killed civilians. The KKB often releases propaganda narratives, one of which is slandering the TNI-Polri troops.
Papua is a land of peace where people live side by side in peace and security. It is known that the Papuan KKB has taken away that sense of security. The Papuan KKB perpetrators have undermined the Land of Papua with actions that have disturbed the security situation there. That is why the Government must be firm in eradicating the Papuan KKB in order to create a sense of security in Papua.
Papuan community figure, Rulche Wally, strongly criticized the actions or actions carried out by this group. He said that the KKB needed to be eradicated because it was only an obstacle for the Government in advancing Papua.
“I really don’t agree and don’t accept what the KKB often does, which are indeed heinous acts that have gone beyond the bounds of reasonableness,” said Papuan Community Leader, Rulche Wally.
Rulche Wally added that the KKB’s cruelty could not be tolerated. Security forces need to take firm action regarding the actions that the Papuan KKB has carried out against civil society.
“I appeal to the security forces to take firm action against the KKB’s actions against OAP and non-OAP,” he added.
Furthermore, Papuan Community Leader, Rulche Wally hopes that Papua can be more advanced and able to compete with other provinces in Indonesia without the existence of Armed Criminal Groups.
“My hope is that Papua’s presence can be more advanced and able to compete with the provinces in this country without the presence of these groups in Papua which pose a threat to development in Papua,” he concluded.
