Jayapura – In order to maintain security stability, Central Sulawesi Brimob Action Task Force personnel ODC-2024 led by Iptu Muhammad Kasim Lating, S.Tr.k., carried out sambang patrols around the Kiwirok District, Bintang Mountains Regency, Tuesday (06/02/2024) .
Inspector General M. Kasim Lating said that the aim of this patrol was to anticipate security disturbances in the Papua region, especially in the Kiwirok District and to provide a sense of security to the people of Kiwirok District ahead of the 2024 Election.
“The people of Kiwirok District responded well to the presence of Task Force personnel, and they were also given information to immediately report if they knew of the presence of a KKB or suspicious person to the TNI/Polri security forces,” he said.
He also gave public security messages to the community and invited them not to be provoked by individuals or groups who wanted to divide society.
“Don’t be easily provoked by individuals or groups who want to divide society,” he concluded.
