Mimika- The baleful action of the Intan Jaya Armed Criminal Group (KKB), occurred again in Intan Jaya district on Monday, January 22, 2024 yesterday by burning 4 houses which were houses assisted by the Intan Jaya Regency Social Service. Tuesday 23/1/2024
The Intan Jaya KKB Bengal Action, previously occurred on January 19, 2024 which resulted in the death of Briptu Posthumous Alfando Steve Karamoy and on January 20, 2024 also burned the house of the Intan Jaya Regency ASN and returned again today reportedly burned 4 units of community houses which were houses of assistance from the Intan Jaya Regency Social Service.
Head of the Cartenz-2024 Ops Damai Public Relations Task Force, AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., M.H., M.M., when confirmed said, the total number of houses burned by the KKB on January 22 was four (4) units, all of which were assistance houses from the Intan Jaya Regency Social Service. This incident occurred at around 15:40 WIT which was seen from the thick smoke in the residents’ housing (assistance house from the Intan Jaya Regency Social Service) owned by Gat Sani and Juni Sani.
“The burning of residents’ houses by the KKB occurred at around 15.40. Wit, which can be seen from the thick smoke from residents’ housing which is a Social Service assistance house owned by community members on behalf of Gat Sani and Juni Sani, “said the Head of the Public Relations Task Force.
He continued, the Security Apparatus in this case the Cartenz Peace Task Force and Intan Jaya Police together with the TNI have increased patrols in the Intan Jaya Regency area to provide security guarantees to citizens.
“We also appeal to citizens to remain calm and not be provoked by misleading issues that may come from unclear sources.” AKBP concluded. Dr., Bayu Suseno.
