When met in Jayapura, Yan Christian Arebo in his statement said, the success of the Cartenz-2023 Peace Ops Task Force, was evident from the appreciation given by the Chief of Police some time ago to members of the Cartenz-2023 Peace Ops task force who had succeeded in taking firm and measurable action against the Papuan KKB in the mountainous district of Bintang in the form of extraordinary promotions.
“This is something very extraordinary where the presence of the Cartenz Peace Ops Task Force in Papua has contributed a lot to the Papuan people in the form of guaranteed security in KKB conflict-prone areas so that people in the region can feel the presence of a sense of security and comfort.”, he said.
Yan Christian Arebo hopes that in the coming 2024, of course what has been successfully carried out by the Cartenz-2023 Peace Ops task force can be maintained and if necessary further improved performance, so as to provide a sense of security and comfort to the Papuan people in conflict-prone areas of the KKB and other criminal perpetrators in this case KKB members who have not been secured, can be secured to be punished in accordance with the applicable law in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
