A month after law enforcement against KKB Bintang Mountains, security forces intensify patrols and implement a city security system

Oksibil- TNI-Polri security forces who are members of the Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force are intensifying patrol activities and implementing a city security system in the Bintang Mountains Regency. Monday (23/10/2023)

Bintang Mountains Police Chief AKBP Dafi Bastomi, S.I.K, M.I.K stated that this activity was carried out to ensure the safety of the people of Bintang Mountains Regency.

“Since the KKB burned down kiosks and markets in the Serambakon district, shot down commercial planes, we have also enforced the law against 5 members of the KKB group Otobius Bidana Mimin. At that time we also increased patrols and implemented city security in the Bintang Mountains Regency area to ensure the safety of the people here,” said Dafi

“Patrol targets are areas prone to KKB disturbances such as Serambakon District, In Oksibil City and other areas,” said Dafi

Head of the Cartenz Peace Public Relations Task Force AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno S.H, S.I.K, M.H when contacted by media crew stated that in the Bintang Mountains, apart from Patrols, the Police also implemented a city security system by placing several Security Personnel at several KKB-prone points.

“We have placed security officers at several points to anticipate KKB disturbances,” said Bayu

Bayu hopes that with this activity, the community will feel safe from KKB interference and can carry out their activities as usual.

“We hope that people will no longer be afraid of the KKB terror because we are here to protect them.” Bayu continued.

“Until now, the situation in society is safe and conducive, economic activities, offices, education and flights are monitored as normal and safe.” Bayu concluded.
