Jayapura- The Chairman of the Customary Council of Region 2 Saireri (DAS) emphasized the importance of appreciating and remembering the struggle of the heroes who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for the independence of the Republic of Indonesia from the colonizers.
The message also emphasized the importance of unity in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) and maintaining a safe and conducive kamtibmas situation.
In this context, Sopater Ayomi, Chairman of the Saireri Region 2 DAS, invited all people living in the Saireri customary area, especially in Panjang Island, Yapen Islands Regency, not to be easily influenced by irresponsible issues. The goal is to prevent disunity and maintain unity in the community and the Indonesian nation.
In addition, Sopater Ayomi also invited the young generation of Indonesia to not only celebrate Independence Day as an annual celebration, but also to fill the day with work, achievement and dedication. The message encourages young people to be actively involved in the development and growth of the nation, without getting caught up in issues that could disrupt social stability.
