Jayapura- KKB member led by Egianus Kogoya, with the initials “YL”, was arrested by security forces in Kenyam, Nduga Regency, Highlands Papua.
Nduga Police Chief AKBP Rio Alex Penelewan when asked for a statement said, from the results of an examination of “YL” it was revealed that “YL” was a KKB spy whose job was to provide information to KKB Egianus Kogoya.
The task of “YL” is as a spy to monitor every movement of the security forces and report to the KKB.
The police chief continued, before the KKB attacked and opened fire on the security forces, “YL” reported about the troops going to the airport. After receiving the report, members of the KKB immediately shot.
There were no fatalities in the shooting incident while the suspect “YL” himself joined the KKB since 2018 and frequently went in and out of Kenyam and when he was arrested there was no resistance from “YL” he explained.
