Yapen – As a form of service to the community in providing a sense of security, the ranks of the Yapen Islands Police through the South Yapen Police continue to carry out sambang activities to the community where this time visiting the community in the mountains of Muman Ambaidiru. Tuesday (6/20/2023).
The Sambang which was led directly by the South Yapen Police Chief IPTU Murdiono and his members as well as the Kosiwo District Bhabinkamtibmas AIPDA Riduan, held a direct meeting with the community as well as a meeting with 5 Village Heads in the mountains of Muman Ambaidiru, namely the Heads of Ambaidiru, Manainin, Numaman, Ramangkurani and Mambo Villages and the traditional leader of Manainin Village Mr. Simson Rawai.
In his statement, IPTU Murdiono explained that, he conveyed kamtibmas messages while maintaining a situation that was always safe and conducive for the security forces together.
“There is a lot of information that is rife, especially in Ambaidiru, that the situation is unsafe, and this proves that there is nothing and community activities are running as usual, we also said not to be easily provoked by hoax issues that are spread on social media,” he said.
In the same place, Bhabinkamtibmas Kosiwo District AIPDA Riduan appealed to the community, village youth as well as leaders not to be easily provoked by issues that could divide the unity and integrity of the nation that developed in social media or issues that could harm themselves and the general public.
Meanwhile, Simson Rawai, a customary figure of Manainin Village, representing the entire community as well as the Village Heads in the muman mountains, thanked the South Yapen Police Chief who represented the Yapen Islands Police Chief, AKBP Herzoni Saragih by revealing that the situation in Ambaidiru until now is safe and conducive and strongly supports the security forces to maintain the regional situation specifically in Ambaidiru.
“Here (Ambaidiru) in general is still safe and conducive, but it needs the presence of security forces / police considering that there are still many young people who consume alcohol and make trouble disturbing the public order”.
Through this sambang, it proves that the information circulating on social media about the evacuation of the community is only hoax information that wants to disrupt the security situation.
