Timika – Chairperson of the Central Papua Mimika Early Community Awareness Forum (FKDM) Luki Makahena, S.Sos., M.Si invites all Traditional Leaders, Religious Leaders in Papua who have local communications to build communication with the Egianus Kogoya Group so they can return Pilot Susi Air who is being held hostage.
Luki Makahena said that he deeply regretted the actions of the Egianus Kogoya Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in still holding pilot Susi Air Capt as hostage. Mark Martens.
“I regret that the actions of the Egianus Kogoya Group since February 7 2023 have not yet achieved what was expected,” said Luki, Tuesday (06/06/2023) in Timika.
He also said that the President of the Republic of Indonesia had given directions to the TNI-Polri to take a persuasive approach.
“The government, through the President, has given a message to the TNI-Polri to make efforts to approach persuasively, build communication based on local wisdom with the community,” he added.
Therefore, Luki hopes to release the Susi Air pilot in the interest of the state and the interests of civilized society for the better because what the Egianus group is doing is purely a criminal act and is very detrimental to the Papuan people as a whole.
