The Head of the Public Relations Task Force continued, previously on May 4, 9 people had been arrested whose movements were suspicious and from the results of the examination of the 9 people, 3 people were found who participated in the murder of citizens in Yahukimo district and the other 6 people had been discharged.
“From the results of the examination of these 3 people, they admitted that the perpetrators of the murder of citizens in yahukimo district some time ago amounted to 5 people. The purpose of their murder is that they want to show their existence of the existence of KKB in Yahukimo,” said the Head of the Public Relations Task Force.
The Head of the Public Relations Task Force added, on May 16, 22 people were arrested who were suspected of being KKB sympathizers in Yahukimo.
“So we say that, 9 people were arrested on May 4, 3 of them were named as suspects in the murder of yahukimo citizens and 6 others have been sent home, then 22 more people were secured on May 16 and 1 person has been named as a suspect in the shooting of a police officer on behalf of Bripda Gilang, a member of the Ops Peace Cartenz 2022 task force on November 30, 2022 at bridge 2 of KM Logpon Poros Road 7, Yahukimo Regency, Papua. and 21 others have been sent home.
