Jayapura_ Papuan youth leader, Ali Kabiay appreciates the steps taken to enforce the law against the armed criminal group (KKB) in Papua which has recently claimed many lives, especially the killing of native Toraja civilians in Yahukimo district some time ago.
Responding to the raids carried out by law enforcement officials in this case, the Ops Damai Cartenz task force and the Yahukimo Police, against the KKB hideout in the Yahukimo district and managed to arrest 9 people who were suspected of being members of the KKB and 3 people have been named suspects in the murder case that occurred in Yahukimo district recently, Ali Kabiay who is the head of the traditional Youth for the Saireri II Nabire-Central Papua region spoke up and appreciated it.
According to him, the greatest appreciation should be given to the Ops Damai Cartenz task force and the Yahukimo Police who have uncovered the perpetrators of this crime in Papua, especially members and sympathizers of the KKB.
“We hope that there will be an active role from the local regional government and also figures in fostering children in the Yahukimo district so they can go to school well,” said Ali Kabiay.
He continued, I saw that the perpetrators were children who were 18 years old but had the courage to commit murders which resulted in the loss of human lives. This is something that deserves attention from all of us in terms of nurturing our children to avoid things like this because these children are the next generation in developing our region.
