“So these 80 residents are refugees and have been recorded when they received health services at the Kenyam Health Center after being evacuated by the TNI-Polri,” he explained.
He said the 80 residents were temporary data but other residents had not been recorded because they had fled to families in villages around Paro.
He continued, after the burning of the plane, the Nduga situation was still under control, meaning there was nothing to worry about. In addition to health services, the TNI-Polri have also provided trauma healing to residents who are also continuing to do so.
“So all Paro residents who have fled continue to be given motivation so that their fear of the incident will disappear,” he said.
He added, the process of evacuating residents was also assisted by helicopters belonging to the TNI-Polri and there were residents who walked all the way to Kenyam. Everything went safely and smoothly during the evacuation until now,” he concluded.
