Puncak Jaya, Papua — Personnel from the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 (Ops Damai Cartenz), Baraka Iqbal Nuriman and Baratu Ali Mustofa Sapumajat, carried out a community outreach activity by directly engaging with local children in the highland region of Puncak Jaya, Papua.
The activity, which took place on Friday (April 25), aimed to strengthen the relationship between security personnel and local communities, particularly among the younger generation. With warmth and friendliness, the task force members spent time with the children, fostering a sense of safety and trust within the community.
In a joyful and familial atmosphere, the children appeared enthusiastic and happy to welcome the officers. The event was part of the ongoing efforts by the Task Force to promote peace and build strong ties between the police and residents in the operational area.
“We continue to emphasize a humanistic approach in every field activity. Children are the future of Papua, and it is crucial for us to be present, to nurture closeness, and provide a sense of security for them,” said Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025 (Kaops), accompanied by Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., Deputy Head of the Operation.
The Head of Public Relation of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., also encouraged the public to maintain a safe and secure environment in their communities.
“We hope the public continues to support the peace efforts carried out by our personnel in the field. Strong collaboration and open communication between residents and officers will accelerate the achievement of lasting peace in Papua,” he stated.
Through these humanistic engagements, the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz aims to deepen its connection with local communities and contribute to establishing sustainable security and harmony in Puncak Jaya.
