Timika – Head of the Papua Regional Police Inspector General Pol. Mathius Fakhiri said that Alan would take firm action against anyone, both the public and government officials who support the movement of the Egianus Kogoya Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Kab. Nduga Papua Mountains.
In his interview, the Head of the Papua Regional Police said that the TNI-Polri security forces would take firm, measured steps in addition to the negotiations that were to be carried out.
“We will target everyone, both the public and officials in government agencies who support Egianus’ activities, of course we will uphold the law,” said the Papuan Police Chief when met in Timika, Sunday (30/04/2023).
He continued, his party emphasized that it would take measurable legal action carried out by the Damai Cartenz Task Force and the TNI. It was the regional police chief’s responsibility to enforce the law.
“Of course I am targeting what the Cartenz Peace Task Force has arrested, we will carry out a legal process,” he said.
Previously the Papua Police Chief had asked the Police Chief and the Regent to help carry out the negotiations which had been running for up to three months.
