Puncak Jaya, Central Papua – The security and public order situation around the Central Market area of Mulia City, Puncak Jaya Regency, remained safe and conducive as personnel from the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 conducted a joint patrol on Friday (May 22, 2026).
The patrol was carried out as a preventive measure to maintain security stability in one of the main centers of community activity. During the operation, personnel monitored the surrounding area while visiting traders and motorcycle taxi drivers conducting their daily activities at the market.
In addition to ensuring the area remained secure, personnel from the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz also engaged in direct dialogue with residents to deliver public security messages and encourage the community to work together in maintaining a conducive environment.
The presence of security personnel received positive responses from the public. Residents stated that the routine patrols helped create a sense of safety and comfort, particularly for traders and motorcycle taxi drivers operating in the busy area of Mulia City.
The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2026, Inspector General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., stated that dialogical patrols and humanist community outreach activities will continue to be conducted routinely in various areas to strengthen relations between security personnel and the community.
According to the Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2026, the humanist approach is one of the important strategies in maintaining security stability in Papua, particularly in Puncak Jaya Regency.
“We want to ensure that the community can carry out their activities safely and comfortably. The presence of personnel in the field is also a form of public service to the community,” he said.
The Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz reaffirmed its commitment to continuously being present among the community in order to maintain security and create a peaceful and conducive situation in Central Papua.
