Sinak, Puncak — A warm and collaborative atmosphere filled the courtyard of Gingga Baru Classic Church on Saturday (Dec 6), as local residents gathered to clean their house of worship. Amid the communal work, personnel from the Sinak Sector of Operation Peace Cartenz arrived with instant noodles and snacks to support the volunteers.
The officers were welcomed with friendly smiles and gratitude from the community. The simple assistance they offered not only lightened the workload, but also created a moment of togetherness between security forces and local residents. The genuine interaction showcased the humanistic approach upheld by Operation Peace Cartenz in building close relationships with the people of Papua.
Brigadier General (Police) Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., Head of Operation Peace Cartenz, expressed that small yet sincere gestures such as this food distribution play an important role in maintaining strong community ties.
He emphasized that a human-centered approach is a key principle of the operation. “We are here not only as security officers, but also as friends of the community,” he said.
Deputy Head of the Operation, Commissioner (Police) Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., echoed the sentiment, stating that positive engagement on the ground is essential to building public trust. According to him, real action speaks louder than words in strengthening mutual understanding.
He noted that the distribution of snacks and instant noodles serves as a bridge for open dialogue and reinforces trust between officers and residents in Sinak.
