Intan Jaya — Amid their routine security duties, a member of the Peace Cartenz Operation Task Force took time to provide basic medical treatment and distribute protein milk to children in Intan Jaya on Tuesday (December 2, 2025).
The officer, Police Brigadier Muhammad Raihan Ikbar Ibatullah, was seen assisting the children with warmth and attentiveness. His presence was welcomed with enthusiasm, especially as he checked the children’s minor health conditions and distributed milk to support their growth. This simple yet meaningful interaction created a friendly atmosphere, making the children feel cared for by the officers tasked with safeguarding their region.
The Head of Peace Cartenz Operation, Police Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that attention to the health and development of Papuan children is an essential part of the human-centered approach continuously implemented by the Task Force.
“We believe that children’s health is a top priority because Papua’s young generation is the foundation of the region’s future,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of Peace Cartenz Operation, Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., expressed his appreciation for the positive initiative shown by personnel in the field who consistently demonstrate social care in their interactions with the community.
“Approaches like this are part of our efforts to build closeness and trust within the community. It is a sustainable strategy to maintain stability and support social development in Papua,” he said.
This simple moment reinforces that the Peace Cartenz Operation is not solely focused on security aspects but is also present as a partner to the community in improving the health and well-being of Papuan children — for a future that is healthier, safer, and more prosperous.
