Timika, October 31, 2025 — On Friday afternoon around 3:00 p.m. local time (WIT), personnel from the Public Relations Task Force of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Timika Post, carried out a social service activity to share kindness with underprivileged communities in Mimika Regency.
The event began with the distribution of food and beverages to residents along the streets of Mimika Regency. The main beneficiaries of this initiative included street workers, garbage collectors, and children in need.
After the distribution, PR Task Force members — Bripda Annisa Mahardika and Bripda Alfesa Hafiz Bagaskara — took time to engage in friendly conversations with local residents. These moments were used to strengthen the bond between police officers and the community.
Commenting on the activity, Head of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Police Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., explained that the social outreach was part of the Indonesian National Police’s (Polri) commitment to always be present among the people — not only to maintain security but also to foster compassion.
“We want to show that the presence of law enforcement is not only about upholding the law but also about sharing care and easing the burdens of the community,” said Brig. Gen. Faizal Ramadhani.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., urged the public to continue maintaining peace and order in their neighborhoods. He also reminded citizens not to be provoked by any parties attempting to disrupt the peaceful situation in Papua.
“Let’s work together to preserve peace in the Land of Papua. Trust the police to safeguard public security and order,” emphasized Comm. Adarma Sinaga.
Concluding the event, the Public Relations Task Force of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 reaffirmed that this act of sharing kindness would continue regularly as a tangible expression of Polri’s compassion and closeness to the people of Papua.
