WASUR – Dr. Ineke Nursih Widyantari, S.Pd., M.Si., a lecturer from the Agribusiness Department, together with a lecturer from the Information Systems Department of Musamus University, once again carried out a community service program through education and training on producing liquid organic fertilizer (LOF). The activity took place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at a resident’s home in Wasur Village and was attended by local women farmers who are actively engaged in gardening.
During the training, participants were not only taught how to independently produce liquid organic fertilizer, but also equipped with skills in packaging and marketing their products. This approach allows LOF products to gain higher market value and the potential to increase household income.
“Our hope is that the knowledge gained will not only improve the quality of local agriculture but also create new business opportunities that positively impact household economies,” said the program organizer.
This community service initiative reflects Musamus University’s commitment to assisting local communities through practical and sustainable knowledge transfer. The program not only supports the development of organic farming but also encourages economic independence among Wasur residents.
