Lanny Jaya – The community of Lanny Jaya Regency has expressed high appreciation for the initiative taken by the Joint Task Force (Satgas) of the Damai Cartenz 2025 Operation, which organized a free haircut event for children in the region. The event, held on Friday (March 14) at Pos Blukar 6.7, Tiom, not only provided direct benefits to the children involved but also strengthened the relationship between law enforcement officers and the local community.
The residents of Lanny Jaya expressed their gratitude for the attention provided by the police. They believe that the event demonstrates that the security forces, specifically Satgas Damai Cartenz, are genuinely concerned about the social needs of the community, even in matters that might seem trivial, such as a haircut, yet have a significant impact on everyday life. “This approach is very important. It’s not just about haircuts, but also about building trust and better communication between the community and the authorities,” they said.
Kombes. Pol. Adarma Sinaga emphasized the importance of communication between the community and authorities in maintaining stability in Papua, particularly in Lanny Jaya. He noted that this event is a tangible example of the synergy needed to create a more conducive environment. “We hope the police will continue with humanistic approaches like this because it is one of the keys to making the community feel safe and valued,” he added.
This initiative, according to the community, will have a positive impact on building trust between the police and the residents. Through such interactions, the community sees the police not only as enforcers of order but also as partners in fostering mutual welfare.
