Moments full of warmth and togetherness are seen again in Oksibil District, Bintang Mountains Regency. In an effort to strengthen relations with the community, the Cartenz-2025 Peace Task Force participated in religious activities by giving a lecture before the tarawih prayer at the Al-Ikhlas Mosque, Oksibil.
One of the Cartenz Peace Task Force personnel, Bripda Abdul Hamid, gave a lecture in front of local residents. In his lecture, he conveyed moral messages and the importance of maintaining unity and harmony in daily life, especially in this blessed holy month of Ramadan.
“We want the people of Oksibil to feel that our presence is not only to maintain security, but also to build togetherness. Ramadan is the right moment to strengthen the bonds of friendship and increase the sense of brotherhood among all of us” said Bripda Abdul Hamid.
In addition to conveying religious values, Bripda Abdul Hamid also invited the public to always maintain tolerance and solidarity between religions, and stay away from things that can divide unity. According to him, togetherness between the community and security forces is very important in creating a conducive and harmonious environment.
Oksibil residents who attended the tarawih prayer also welcomed this activity positively. They feel that the presence of the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz not only brings a sense of security, but also becomes a part of the community’s social life.
Responding to this activity, Head of Public Relations Operation Peace Cartenz-2025, Cheif Commissioner pf Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T, stated that the humanist approach is the main strategy in creating a conducive security situation in Papua.
“This activity is part of our commitment to be present in the community, not only as a law enforcer but also as a partner in social and religious life. We want the public to feel comfortable, safe, and strengthen the relationship with the security forces,” said Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo.
He also emphasized that Operation Peace Cartenz-2025 not only focuses on law enforcement, but also builds trust and closeness with the community through cultural and religious approaches.
“We will continue to do activities like this to strengthen our relationship with residents. Security can not only be realized by legal action, but also by building good communication, and showing that we exist for the community,” he added.
With the good interaction between the security apparatus and the community, it is hoped that the situation in the Bintang Mountains will be more conducive and full of the spirit of unity and togetherness.
