JAYAPURA – Reverend Jantje Willem Maury has expressed his hopes that the Task Force for Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 will carry out its mission effectively to bring peace to the people of God in the land of Papua.
“We hope and pray that the Task Force for Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 can perform their duties well so that the people of God in Papua can experience peace,” said Rev. Jantje Willem Maury in Jayapura City on Tuesday (18/2/2025).
He also called on all members of the community to act wisely and thoughtfully in responding to the various situations occurring in Papua.
“We urge the people of God in Papua to think wisely and intelligently in addressing every issue that arises in this region,” he added.
During the occasion, he referenced Psalm 91:14, which states, “Because he loves me, I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.”
According to him, this verse teaches that God desires a purposeful life for all and emphasizes the importance of living in peace. He stressed that peace is essential for the well-being and prosperity of the community in Papua.
Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 is part of ongoing efforts to maintain stability and harmony in Papua, a region that has faced various challenges. The involvement of religious leaders like Rev. Maury highlights the community’s spiritual support for peace-building efforts in the area. His message underscores the need for unity, wisdom, and divine guidance in achieving lasting peace.
