Dr. BAYU SUSENO, SH, SIK, MM, MH., when confirmed, said that the burning of 1 market and 7 stalls was carried out by the KKB after a firefight occurred between the joint Ops Damai Cartenz patrol and the Bintang Mountains Police on Monday 18 September 2023.
“Material losses in the form of 1 market which is an asset of the regional government of the Bintang Mountains district and 7 kiosks belonging to residents of Southeast Sulawesi (Buton),” explained the head of the Cartenz Damai Ops Public Relations task force.
He continued, for now, TNI-Polri officers are still on guard to anticipate security disturbances from the KKB group
